Intervale Senior Services

Since 1986, Intervale Senior Services Program has helped the YWCA San Gabriel Valley reach out and embrace aging members of the community with compassion and support. Our affiliation with senior centers throughout the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys and our ability to deliver meals to the homebound allows us to serve nutritiously balanced meals to more than 1,500 seniors every day. We provide meals and a variety of other vital services to qualifying seniors in English, Spanish or Mandarin.

We offer urgent case management services to seniors in crisis including emergency home delivered meals, group dining meals, telephone reassurance, outreach and information referral services, housekeeping and homemaking services, and chore and minor home modification services throughout the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys.

Do you know a senior who is:

· in danger of having his or her utilities shut off?
· living in an abusive situation?
· suffering from hunger or malnutrition?
· in a vulnerable, unstable or crisis situation?

Every six seconds a woman is abused, every day a senior starves to death and lives in poverty, and because every day a child goes to sleep unloved and unnoticed. “WHY ARE WE STILL HAVING THIS CONVERSATION?" Before you can ask yourself this question another woman or child has been abused.
