YWCA of San Gabriel Valley· LEADING THROUGH CHANGE Founded in 1935, YWCA of San Gabriel Valley (YWCA-SGV) has been a long-standing multi-service community resource in the San Gabriel Valley region for over 87 years. YWCA is committed to empowering women, girls, seniors and their families and providing the services they need to manage the critical issues in their lives. Although women continue to be our primary target, today, many of our services and programs are gender-neutral and are open to all regardless of race, sex or gender identity. We achieve this by providing culturally sensitive, traumainformed social services to those impacted by violence and seniors experiencing food insecurities in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys within Los Angeles County.
