Senior Director of Finance

Eva Carreon assumed the role of Director of Finance at the YWCA SGV in December 2021, where she is a valued member of the Executive Team. With a distinguished career spanning three decades in financial management across various Southern California municipalities, Eva brings a wealth of expertise to her position, as she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from California University at Pomona. Her most recent role was as the Director of Finance/City Treasurer with the City of Irwindale.

Eva’s roots lie in Azusa, where she was born and raised, and her profound joy emanates from her three grown children. As a lifelong advocate for animals, she shares her home with two German Shepherds and two feline companions. Beyond her professional pursuits, Eva finds fulfillment in quality time with her family, culinary endeavors, globetrotting adventures, musical appreciation, and her altruistic contributions as a volunteer at the Westside German Shepherd Rescue. Eva Carreon’s diverse passions and extensive financial acumen make her an invaluable asset to our team.
